How do I remove My Web and replace it with Google when I connect to the internet? I've tried to reassign the home page away from http://myweb.vodafone.co.uk/ to Google, but it keeps going back to My Web.

Hi JohnnieBilly,
This exact steps you need to take to change the homepage does vary slightly depending on the model phone that you're using. On my Android phone it's simply a matter of loading the internet browser, clicking settings and then general and then inputting the website that you want as your homepage and making sure you save the changes.
If you're having any difficulties with this, let us know the model phone that you're using and we'll provide you with the exact steps you'll need to take.
Thanks,
Phil

Hi Phil
I've found the Subscriptions & Bookmarks tab but all it contains is stuff about email delivery, content, format and HTML posts and replies.
I have an HTC Wildfire S (bought August 2011). I've been through the following routine to try and remove My Web:
I’ve been round this loop several times and switched the ‘phone off between, but I’m still stuck with My Web. What do I need to in order to get rid of it?
Thanks
John

Hi JohnnieBilly,
Thanks for coming back to us.
Is it possible for you to change the addresses in step 8 to www.google.com?
That should rectify it for you.
Let me know how you get on.
Cheers,
LeeH

I have the same problem but on a Nokia Lumia, I want to remove Vodafone Iweb, there are fewer setting than android and it is very irritating.
This makes me HATE Vodaphone, I paid for this phone, if they want to buy me a phone and pay my rental then they can rent space on my phone.
I just want my browser to load not some portal they put in place to promote their company.
