Conditional Call Forwarding - Hullomail

Related to Pay Monthly Voicemail service.

I've seena few posts in various forums but none of them fix the issue I have.

Apple iPhone 6S+, new voda contract, number ported across 7 days ago from EE.  Standard Voda VM working fine.

Downloaded Hullomail to utilise visual voicemail but had erros activating the service.  Raised a ticket on them, they investigated and reported that this is an issue with Conditional Call Forwarding with the network.

I found posts that suggested various **61*xxxx type codes but they report the exact same failure error that I recieve when using the app to activate.

Bizarrely I have an iPhone 5C for work on Voda and the app activated first time.

Anyone had errors or problems and know how to fix?  Cannot find any option on phone lines to speak to someone about it either!

Yes that sounds very familiar. I've had to give up on the issue for the time being as busy with family and friends over xmas. It's clearly device specific. I'm glad I'm not the only one...beginning to think I'd lost the plot!!

None of the networks codes I've been sent and or found work at all. And after hours trying to get through to second line I got sent a 'fix' that was essentially everything I'd said that had been tried already!! Grrrrr....

Yes, the third level of support, the "specialist team", after over an hour on the line to others, told me she would text me a solution. Imagine my frustration when it was a set of network codes, that I'd just explained to three people including her that THEY DO NOT WORK.

I've made enquires about this and I've been told that a number of USSD codes won't work if you have wifi calling enabled on the phones. I suggest you turn off wifi calling and then try and set up the call divert via HulloMail and see if that works.

I just looked and wi-fi calling was off. I toggled it to see if anything changed, but got a message that 'To allow wi-fi calling on this account contact your carrier'

If wifi calling is a service Vodafone supply then it looks like something else might not be working with this phone type. (I can't enter make the call forwarding iPhone menu item work properly either)

Looks like another theory has failed.

I have unlocked my phone and received the confirmation from VF customer service team. I inserted the new SIM and started to receive calls. However, the in Mobile Data Network in Setting, my Data Network doesn't work. The APN still says: pp.vodafone.co.uk and Username: wap.

I clicked on Reset Settings but nothing changes. Can anyone help??

What should happen when you insert your new networks SIM card is that they send you all the necessary set up texts.

Some Networks can send them via text if you ask and some send them via using a Short Code like Vodafone do.

A person can also manually input the APN settings for Internet and MMS use. Look to their Homepage for the APN settings or use the GeekSquad online site.

Yes - your new network will help.

Thank you. I have contacted my new network provider and change the settings in Mobile Data. It works now.

Did anyone ever find a solution to this? I'm trying to divert my busy, unanswered and unavailable calls to HulloMail, but keep getting errors when using every single code I have tried! It worked from my iPhone 6s 2 days ago when I was on EE (joined Vodafone yesterday).

I contacted HulloMail and they suggested calling Vodafone, asking to be put through to second line support and they should be able to do it for you if you give them the number you want to forward to!

Has anyone done this, and what's the best way to contact second line support?

The fact that ussd codes don't work on Vodafone is very frustrating!
