Not receiving texts

Hi 

Just recently when I send a text message to my mum she's not receiving them.  We are both with Vodafone (contract), I have galaxy note 3, she has galaxy S4mini. We can phone each other no problem and I receive her texts fine, but she doesn't receive mine.  Phone says they have been sent.

Phoned Vodafone today, man I spoke to said the problem is with my mums phone if she isn't receiving them, but that it could also be a contacts problem.  Told me that we both had to delete each other from our contacts, then send each other a text by just putting the number in.  We have done that and she still isn't getting my texts. 

Can anyone else shed any light?  I should say that everyone else is receiving my texts, including other vodafone users and my mum is receiving texts from other people including vodafone users.

Thanks for getting in touch.

I'd try giving both phones a hard reset:

 - Switch the handset on
 - Whilst powered up, remove the SIM card and battery
 - Put the battery back in and switch on
 - Wait a couple of minutes, then remove the battery again
 - Replace the SIM and battery and switch back on 

If this doesn't help, back up the phone and restore the factory settings.

Once done, test the text messaging before restoring your data or apps.
