Hi

Since I connected my VSS my broadband speed has deteriorated significantly - I have seen a few related threads about this, please could you tell me what the solution is?

Many Thanks

Lisa

Big Thanks to Grolshuk and Andrew ... I have managed to get tyhe SS3 to work now - but via a very peculiar route!

First - thanks Andrew - I opened the TCP/UDP ports as you listed them.

I've been running my Draytek V2820 through a V120 modem, and the WAN2 port (due to the up & download speeds I get through WAN2 being better than with the direct WAN1 interface on the router).

I reconfigured the router to use WAN1 - and hey! The SS then went thru' the process of connecting to the Vodafone server and sync'd with solid red, solid Internet, and solid In Service. Our cellphones are now showing max signal strength ...

I have no idea why the V2820's WAN2 port & V120 modem can't support the SS - but I guess I'll just have to put up with slower DSL speeds to get the Vodafone service.

Hi FoxhallGH,

Thanks for supplying this information, I'm sure it will help others who are experiencing the same issues. :smileyhappy:

All the best,

Kay
