No 4g on new PAYG sim

1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?

Tried around the area aprox 4m radius where I no 4g is available.

 

2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? If you don't want this showing on the Community, add it to your profile here.

LL552TY and 4m radius 

 

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?

Yes

 

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?

No errors only H+ showing 

 

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?

Only H+ available will not connect to 4g

    

6) When did you first notice this issue?

As soon as I put the new sim card in my phone. Galaxy s8

 

7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?

Appears to be constant unable to get 4g have tried another payg sim which also shows H+ only.

Have previously always had 4g on Vodafone contract phones at home and locally.

@JP2000 - I’ve checked the coverage in your area and you should get good 2G.

3G and 4G however are a little patchy and mostly available outdoors only. Your local sites all look to be performing fine.

If you’re having problems with calls and texts, please try changing your phone’s settings to 2G only and this should improve.

As of this morning 4g has appeared as if by magic. No idea why it wasnt working and havent a clue why all of a sudden it is now.
