Transfer of data to SD card from phone

Tried opening file manager. No option to move photos etc to card. Help.

As mentioned by @63johnw it would be a necessary piece of information to know what phone model your using. 

Information on how to move pictures etc from phone to SD Card would be in your user manual that came with the phone / online User Manual or some phones have built in help and tips sections or a Google Search could help. 

That said if you can update your post I'm sure the forum will also be able to help and guide you.

Depending on the phone you have, go your gallery or the file the images have been stored to, click on the icon at the top and select move.  

Select the image or select all, click on the icon at the top again, you will then be able to move from internal storage to SD card.

This should give the answer on how to move files to the SD card.

Yes I tried that. There was no move option when I hit the icon ( the three dots) on the top right hand corner

Looking at my device there is no option to move photos.

What you may have to do is connect your phone to a computer and drag and drop from the internal memory card to the external SD card.

Have you set the camera to use the SD card as the memory ?

Sorry, should say I am not using the same device but mine is android.
