Can't unregister my Sure signal

I've not had an account for more than 3 years , but i wanted to pass the sure signal on to a customer .
Please can you unregister the box?. Many thanks.

I been over the phone one hour, to be told without my old mobile phone number the sure box cannot be unregistered, the was a reason why I left Vodafone
Customer service!!!!!

 

IS IN YOU INTEREST TO UNREGISTER  MY OLD SURE BOX TO HAVE ONE OF YOU CUSTOMER HAPPY BECAUSE IS GOT A CRAP SIGNAL

 

WELL I THINK YOU JUST LOST A ANOTHER CUSTOMER

After all this time here is the answer:

Thank you for your email here.
 
I've discussed the case with our technical team and according to them we are unable to de-register the sure signal as this sure signal is not in use for the last few months this is now inactive and can't be used.
 
We do appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Please accept my apologies for the length of time it took to reach that answer.  

 

When a Sure Signal isn't used for over 12 months, it deactivates and is unable to be used again.
