Plan change Mid Cycle

It is good news for any plan change during your Billing cycle, that Vodafone have started sending an Email to tell you about your expected Bill for Current Month.  Had suggested this several years ago and glad to see it implemented.

But and a BIG BUT,

Need to get the calculation Right.
Got this in Email

Your next bill

When you upgrade or change your plan, the total of your next bill will be different from your new monthly plan cost. This is because it'll include:

  • The first full month of your new plan which you pay for in advance: £31.45

  • A charge for the time between your new plan starting and the date of your bill: £24.57

  • One-off charges (for example delivery fee): £0.00
  • A refund for the part of your old plan that you paid for in advance but didn’t use: £23.91 (credit)

We estimate that the total for mobile number ending 630 will be £32.11.

And here is the Calculation of what it should be.

Old Tariff£31.14
New Tariff£31.45

08/08/202307/09/2023 £31.45
Next Bill£31.71

And to be fair, the Estimated Bill on my Online Account is correct.
So someone has made an error in calculation behind the Automated Email.

Hi @Getafix - I hope you're well. Thanks for the examples you've provided and bringing this to our attention. We'll keep a look out on other estimated emails for this. I'm glad the estimated bill on your account is showing as you've calculated.
