My Vodafone Suresignal v1 has stopped working since power spike One light lit only

I have had may ss v1 since they came out and time to time it goes off after a power cut.  I would normally reset this as i have done many times over the year by holding the reset down, unpluging the device and plug back in whilst still holding the reset, however it will not come on, i have tried many resets over the last week to no avail,  only the first light ever comes on.  i can see it on the network and it is sending out requests but never comes on.  i rely on this and therefore have a very limited signal now if i go out to the garden,  this needs fixing.

Hi Saabpages,

If you have'nt  already tried, I would suggest you replace your power supply.

V1 power supplies are failing in quite large numbers now because of loss of efficency due to age and are unable to fully power the Sure Signal.

If you require one, they are readily available on Amazon or Ebay and cost around £10 delivered, just search for 'Sure Signal power supplies'.

Regards,

Mike.
