Wondering if anyone can suggest a 3rd party router that supports Wifi 6E and has a 2.5Gb Wan port?

Thanks! I take it everything works as it should with the 900 Fibre connection?

Should not be a problem at all. If you get 900 with the vodafone router the Asus will have no problem.
Even the standard RT-AX88U can handle it, but it only has 1Gb WAN (and it's getting a little long in the tooth these days)

I get 1.2-1.3Gbps hence the need for 2.5Gb Wan.

@steslatt85 I am not being critical, this is a genuine question from someone still on FTTC; does an ordinary household really need 6E and 2.5Gb ethernet? Most of the transmission delays are outside the LAN and out of out control. Hopefully FTTP may turn-up this year.

2.5Gb ethernet is probably overkill but 6/6E definitely has benefits over 5ghz. Its less crowded so less interference, more channels, wider bandwidth and lower latency. Its noticeably better for gaming, specifically game streaming. For your average user you probably wouldn't notice though.

@steslatt85 OK, thanks. I suspect the crowding issue will come to impact 6/6E as all the neighbours boost their systems, but you are right in that there is more frequency spread. I do play some games but I find that the problems tend to be on the game servers.
It's a good thing the anti-5G mast people haven't noticed the WiFi frequencies are similar 😂

Mobile 5G uses 3.4-3.8GHz according to Ofcom.
