Hi

It means it goes into ftip........

and bounces around and never comes out.

Network error/issue.

So the website does seem to work, just not the routing info.

Thanks clint_flick,

from my side the website doesn't work - do you think it's not connected with the routing at all?

I can connect to other websites without a problem and have tried 1 x PC with Internet Explorer 11 and 2 x Macs with Safari 13 and none can connect anymore to standard life.co.uk

I can't think of any change on my side - was working fine for 18 months until a couple of days ago......

A tracert dies at the same point for me, but I'm able to access the site fine. Have you tried using a different browser?

Edit: Sorry I hadn't read your last comment fully. Have you tried rebooting the router?

Hi

I am using Brave Browser and W10.

C:\>ipconfig -all

Just for comparison really, I aint nothing special.

The attached file is a .doc and if you change the extension to .bat then run it on a Windows machine you get to flush out your cache etc.

Thanks All for the advice. After 2 days it started working again - no router reboot, no config change, nothing.

No clue what was going on......

Hi

If nothing changed then I would look at the IP address, Lease time from the DHCP server.

It timed out and re-negotiated an IP address, giving a connection again.
