Moving House

Hi

I am currently with Sky in my current house. We are looking to move in a couple of weeks and this also roughly coincides with the end of my broadband contract.

Because of covid there is a delay with the transfer so may be without internet for 2-3 weeks. The current tennant is happy to leave his Vodafone active for me. Can I simply borrow a Vodafone router and ‘plug and play’ it? Or is it not that simple. I have access to an older Vodafone broadband router but is it worth the hassle.

thanks for any help

I believe the router is connected to the person's specific broadband connection  / account @meady10

Configuring-2nd-hand-THG3000.

And Vodafone also request the Vodafone Connect Router to be returned when a Broadband Account is cancelled as part of the cancellation process. Failure to do so can lead to a charge for the router.

Vodafone would send a Returns Bag for it.

A person can use their own router if it's compatible.
