Urgent connection support for Covid-19 test development team member

My wife is a key member of a team developing Covid-19 tests and needs a reliable internet connection whilst she is working from home. Our home broadband cuts out for hours at a time throughout the day.

This is the fourth time I have contacted Vodafone in the last week and each time they have assured me that our connection issues will be addressed. We have been given engineer references, guaranteed timescales and multiple assurances that all will be sorted within 24hrs and that we will be called to keep us up to date.

This has not happend.

Now the online chat is down, and we are in a daily cycle trying to get support via phone (2hr wait then cut off)

Please can someone prioritise this - I shouldnt need to stress how important it is

Totally appreciate the circumstances for you.

As there is no account access support via this forum anymore I'd suggest to engage with the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.

Thanks - have tried that now and the Facebook messenger chat stopped responding to my enquiry 4 hours ago. I also waited in a phone queue for 2hrs and then was cut off ...

If any vodafone staff are monitoring this please can you get in touch (see the context of this issue - we are not trying to stream 4k entertainment, my wife is a keyworker within the Covid-19 testing effort)

What type of connection is it? FTTC ADSL etc. most likely a copper issue if XDSL but with the amount of use could also be a radius issue which Vodafone will have to fix. Some basic things that you would be asked to try is make sure your definitely on the master telephone socket not an extension.  Is your landline down when your internet goes down? Try the following anyhow change of RJ11 cable change of micro filter connect to the test socket by removing the faceplate then see how you get on.

you will not get an an engineer  at the moment since Openreach outsourced the centre for engineer bookings to India which is currently in Lockdown. If your lucky you might get a non appointed visit so cabinet and exchange work only
