Gigacube's 5G and 4G lights suddenly go off - no internet

Hi we had a gigacube that worked well until it suddenly died a few months back,  we were sent a replacement which seemed to work fine but about 3 or 4 times a day (or night)  the 5g and 4g lights turn off, all internet disconnects.  sometimes it will reconnect it self other times we have to turn it off (if the power button responds or pull the plug.  ) 

i tried updating the firmware but its up to date - i wonder if its a dud unit
