I bought a Vodafone R219z 4G 15GB Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot which worked straight off, without registering. When my 15Gb credit was used up, I bought another 15 Gb SIM from Argos, but I wanted to keep track of my usage, so I set about registering. On the sign-up page it says:
"Your Vodafone number and your device to hand so you can receive the security code we’ll send you."
I do not know what they're talking about. I have no Vodaphone number that I know of. Can anyone clarify?

Sorry, this doesn't help. I cannot get an access code until I have provided a "Vodaphone number". But I still do not know what my "Vodaphone number " is, because I do not have a Vodaphone mobile phone. Pleas can you explain what that is. Thank you.

@Terps - Thanks for testing what I posted.
The SIM that is in your Mi-Fi Device, will have a mobile number linked to it. Please can you pop the SIM into a mobile phone and enter *#100# - this will then display the mobile number. You could then register while the SIM is in the phone and the security code would be text, so you can view it in the messages on the phone.
Alternatively, a Vodafone store could help with this or please check the paperwork that come with the SIM for the mobile number.
