"Daily News has reported that Apple has ordered production of 72 to 78 million iPhone 7 handsets, way beyond what analysts had predicted."
My Thoughts........
Not to be too critical but with past Apple iPhone / iPad etc launches there always seems to be unit shortages as demand outstrips supply 
Time will tell this year
