Hi all
According to Ofcom, there are an estimated 80,000 premises in the UK that have no mobile phone coverage at all. Vodafone has already begun addressing this issue through its amazing Rural Open Sure Signal (or ROSS for short) plan. The even better news is that this isn’t the only scheme set to bring signal to the remote areas. We also have MIP.
MIP stands for Mobile Infrastructure project and it’s a government backed scheme to get and maintain more masts in the places that need them most. Our social blog recently caught up with Dr Rob Matthews who explains more about what is behind the MIP. Take a read of the full article here.
