Hi,
Can anyone please assist. I
have just returned to UK after 9 yrs away. To find that am now in bad credit with my bank as Vodafone never closed down my account as instructed. I also just learnt that my old Vodafone account has been passed to TDX as I am in default with Vodafone account.
Now because of this I cannot open another bank account to aid with my return.
I need to get the historic itemised billing and call records for this account for my records to assist with further action.
All I keep getting told is that I can log onto my old account online but cannot because they need to send a validation code to the old sim number that is no longer have!

Unfortunately account access isn't available via this forum @smudge67 so I would suggest engaging with the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries and they'll investigate.
They also can pass your information to their Credit File Specialist Team to see if the default that lasts 6 years was warranted or not.
Sometimes we see a person has instructed to end their contact with Vodafone but then close down their Direct Debit too soon which does not then allow Vodafone to collect any final amounts which can sometimes take 2 to 3 weeks after closing down the account to be collected.
