Bufferbloat

I seem to have high broadband bufferbloat on latency. I cannot see any QoS settings on the router and would like to know how to improve this. I have a few smart devices and also notice some lag while online gaming

@Willow123 While we wait for the pictures to be moderated could you let us know which broadband type and which router you have please.

I have 910mpbs full fibre pro II broadband with the ultra hub on Openreach

@Willow123 Are you using ethernet or Wifi to connect to the router? If WiFi can you compare with using ethernet?

I don't think QoS will solve your bufferbloat problem. Resolving the issue with the 22ms ping definitely would help.

Run a traceroute to bbc.com and post the results for us? Copy/paste is better than a screenshot.

Hello,

Could you explain how to do the traceroute to BBC.com?

I couldn't ever imagine relying on the forum. Oh no, no way. There's weird people here, like me 🤪

Here is the traceroute results to BBC.com from my laptop. The bufferbloat test was done on my phone
