1. Has anyone managed to replace Calix ONT with SFP module?
2. Any chance to get VoIP credentials to use my own SIP phone rather then connecting the phone into the Vodafone router?
Vodafone customer services seems useless.

1. Yes - you can get GPON ONU SFP Class B+ and configure it with settings from Calyx 801Gv2 GigaPoint box. Calyx ONT default IP is: 192.168.100.100 username: support and password: support
2. Still doing an investigation.

I don't know where you are based (possibly S,A,?) but this is a UK forum. We do not use SFPs (Small Form-factor Pluggable) connections in our routers.

Apologies, I'd not heard of anyone trying to use SFP connections. Are you on CityFibre?

Me? No, openreach. But still interested after reading of other enquiries and investigations elsewhere.

Quite a few products on the UK market have sfp slots. I don't have any reference on this with regards this ONT so I'm watching with interest.
My one question in this regard is whether mac spoofing will get a link working or is it also down to the serial number or the device ID, or a combination of these.
