I don't mean the title of this to be inflamatory but I have real doubts about Secure Net on my home broadband connection.
I have the Android app installed (as advised by the Vodafone broadband app). I constantly get notifications about malicious websites being blocked but these bear no resemblance to when the relevant devices are being used. Even better, I have been away on holiday for a few days and switched off my hub before I left and I'm still getting notifications about sites being successfully blocked.
On a previous vodafone chat session, the help team denied any knowledge of there being a vodafone app for managing secure net on broadband despite the heavy Vodafone branding.
So, what's the deal? Does Secure Net actually do anything or is it just the app that's beyond hopeless? Surely it doesn't take 2-3 days to send a notification of a site being blocked.

The way Vodafone sell it is unethical and immoral and probably should be illegal if it's not already. If you are careful about what you are visiting and downloading, you should have no issues. Ensure your AV is up to date on your PC, and stop paying for a pointless add-on.
