This morning my broadband connection refused to connect to my email server (it had been working fine for the past few months since I transferred to Vodafone). I tried to log on to my cPanel and it just timed out. All other services appear to be working fine - I can visit websites, access messages etc. it all appears to be working except trying to visit one website - my email hosting company. I can visit it from my mobile device on 4G - all working fine. If I tether my computer to my 4G phone, I can access both my emails and my cPanel on my computer - but go back to my Vodafone broadband router and it times out.
I have tried resetting the router and changing my DNS settings all to no avail. As I can access everything when I tether to 4G data, I must assume this is an issue with either my router or further down the line at Vodafone. I have tried customer support and have been told to wait 24 hours to see if it sorts itself out - not much help.
Has anyone come across any similar problem? Or has anyone any ideas that I can try to get my emails and cPanel back accessible on my broadband?
