WiFi Calling

Can anyone answer definitively if WiFi Calling is available on PAYG accounts? I did find an old thread that says it was but I know things change.

Also, the website indicates that WiFi Calling can be set up direct from the phone without calling Vodafone. Can anyone confirm this?

WiFi  calling on PAYG is available @TheHog .

Take a look at device guides for information on how to set up the feature Device guides 

You will also need 4G calling 4G calling

Thanks for the answer. But can you clarify why do you say I need 4G calling? The problem here is reception is virtually non-existent, which is why I need WiFi calling. We don't get 4G here, or indeed any G at all.

I've thought of another question too. I understand that if I don't renew PAYG I won't be able to use data after 30 days, but would I be able to send / receive SMSs and calls?

If you don't renew @TheHog , you will be on PAYG 1 with unlimited calls, texts and 50 MB data and will be charged the daily rate  of £1.00 per day. It's free to receive. 

Take a look at the website you can find answers to questions there. 

Where PAYG is concerned keep the SIM active with some chargeable activity.
