I received my NUC to unlock my samsung and followed the instructions.  However when i turned my phone back on i received the message SIM network PIN blocked.  Enter SIM network PUK.

can you please tell me what I need to do to unlock this phone so that i can transfer to my new mobile provider.

May i assune the alternative network sim card your using is activated i.e connects to mobile data etc and your in the Uk ?

Sadly with Samsung phones we see this all too often @DMC-14

You don't need a Puk in my opinion.

I think the phone is getting confused as a Puk is only needed if a sim has become blocked due to a sim pin being entered too many times. It has nothing to do with unlocking a phone to all networks.

I think you need a MCK Mastercode also known as an unfreeze code as well as the Nuc which is available from the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.

Live Chat  is another route.

It's about time Vodafone sent the MCK along with the Nuc IMO.

Hopefully if Ofcom succeeds all phone will be supplied unlocked out of the box.

I wish you all the best with this situation.
