Access to Minecraft servers Pocket Edition

Hi

Just had Vodafone Super Wifi installed. Only thing that doesn't work is daughter's iPad accessing public hosted servers - previously no problem on Sky Broadband. She can play her local games, but others can't join from outside.  I have tried accessing some of the previous post suggestions of Ports to be opened. I know my way around the router settings a little in expert mode but is anyone able to give me a clear idea what needs to be done?

I've also seen 

Static NAT/DMZ/Exposed Host - option but reluctant to try this without further advice from community.

Can anyone help?
