I have a new Pixel 7pro but according to Vodaphone website it won't do 4G calling. Surely this can't be right.
Is there an indicator that shows what 'G' i am logged into?

What exactly is your problem with the phone, @johnnymercer74 ?

I have the same issue as the OP, I have a Pixel 7 Pro bought off plan from Google and your 4G calling checking tool is saying it's not compatible (PSA - IMEI erased)

ok, but does VoLTE or VoWiFi actually work?

WiFi calling does but there's no option to select LTE calling. Is that something that just works automatically?

Vodafone hide the option to enable it (or disable it)
Make a call, if your phone stays on 4G, it is working.

No it definitely drops to 2G for the duration of my phone call and then reverts back to 4G once I hang up.

I'd try a SIM swap first. Try and get a blank Vodafone PAYG SIM and you can do it yourself online.
You might get lucky with a Vodafone technical support person who knows how to send the OTA config, but they will generally try and avoid doing any real work and fob you off.

That's exactly my situation. Bought from Google with a 5g sim only Vodafone plan. I'll be very unimpressed with Vodafone if for some reason only phones bought from them work with 4g calling. If only phones from Vodafone work that seems a bit legally suspect.

@BASKANOS So what happens when you make a call, does it stay on 4g? Who cares what a database says, just try it.
I bought my Pixel 7 Pro direct from Google and VoLTE and VoWiFi work fine on Vodafone.

Isn't 4g the mobile data and different from the voice call connection? 4g stays on the top of the screen when I make a call, so does that mean it's doing 4g calling?
