Hey 🙂 Thumbs up
You dont necessarily need an update for your Android phone. Are you sure its the Android phones firmware that needs updating and not something else ?
Best way to check. Aslong as you have access to the the Google Play Store.
From the Google Play Store, i would download a firewall, called 'No Root Firewall'
If you install that first.
The next time your phone tries to update, 'No Root Firewall', will tell you exactly what software is trying to run.
Now, you can either block it, or allow it. It will tell you what the program is.. Very informative.
Once you can understand what the phone is actually trying to do, it may just be another piece of software trying to update, and it doesnt really need to. Android firmware from the likes of Sony, Samsung, well, they will always try to update on a regular basis.
This is something you can turn off ok ?
See how you get on 🙂
