I use a mobile phone mainly for  talking to people  and MSM. ( unusual these days , I know)

Since vodafone discontinued the  suresignal thing  I dont get a mobile signal inside my 1800's stone-walled croft.

My current phone - Samsung J1 -  wont do wifi calling.

So what is the lowest spec phone available ( 2nd hand/pre-owned is OK)  that will give me back a mobile connection in the house ?

And perhaps for next year when the service provided is reduced even further .

Hi @medalto

This Vodafone support link shows which phones are compatible.

https://www.vodafone.co.uk/network/calling-features/wi-fi-calling

" All these phones support both WiFi and 4G Calling when bought from us.

Please note that phones bought from other UK network providers and third parties are unlikely to support Vodafone WiFi and 4G Calling – with the exception of iPhones, which should work regardless.

^ That said people who have purchased an eligible phone from another source to Vodafone UK have said their phone works with Calling Over Wi-Fi,  but you do take a chance of it not working if you do.

Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.
