Hi all
New on the board and have a query re signal strength at home. It would appear that we now have a limited 4G signal at home which just about penetrates the house (hanging out the window appears to be best bet).
I cannot make calls on 4G inside and and used to switch back to 3G for voice but recently it appears 3G signal has been reduced somewhat.
I have read 3G will be reduced but not to be replaced with a 4G equivalency feels like a poor exchange - Postcode is GL19.
Is there anywhere to raise this as a formal query or is the forum the best place to ask

Hi
Currently Vodafone do not support Volte aka calling over 4g.
Calls are made via 3g and 2g.
Sometimes turning off 4g and 3g in the phone can help with calls.
Please check if you've not already done so what the Vodafone Network Mast Status Checker is reporting for your area.
*
Your Local masts may show as OK so Please also use the Zoom out feature in the map to check surrounding masts for issues.

Vodafone have provided a specific Self Help Thread that holds Initial Checks and a Template that asks certain questions that will Help us and the Tech Team to ascertain what's possibly going wrong in your area. Please would you re post the template with your answers.

Other issues maybe that mast congestion is happening which is where lots of people access the mast(s) at the same time.
Issues like new buildings being erected or extended, reflective tinted windows , and even in some cases trees growing/ sprouting leaves can be an issue. Also if the population has grown in that area too.
In rare occasions the removal of a mast can cause issues too.
Have you considered a sure signal that creates a 3g signal in the home that works off home broadband but does cost a one off £69
Or Calling over WiFi is on an eligible tariff and accepted compatible handset.
