Account number?

Recently recived an iphone 5s from mobilephonesdirect and have not recieved an account number. I need the account number because I am trying to transfer my old ee pac number to my new vodafone sim. I have rang customer services and they informed me to text 'ACCOUNT' followed by my postcode to 97886 and am recieveing the message about not being able to recieve an upgrade? Anyone help please?
