I haven't been able to find the full specs for this. Are you sure it's compatible with the frequencies Vodafone uses in the UK?

Hello there
Many thanks for the info, I managed to find the bandwidth the phone operates on, which I have attached,
GSM
GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) was
developed to replace the analog cellular network (1G),
therefore it is referred to as a 2G mobile network. It has
been improved with the addition of General Packet Radio
Services (GPRS) and later via the Enhanced Data rates
for GSM Evolution (EDGE) technology.
GSM 850 MHz
GSM 900 MHz
GSM 1800 MHz
GSM 1900 MHz
W-CDMA
W-CDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) is an
air interface used by 3G mobile networks. It is one of the
three different UMTS interfaces together with the TDSCDMA
and the TD-CDMA. The standard provides faster
data transfer speeds and allows more users to connect
to the network simultaneously.
W-CDMA 850 MHz
W-CDMA 900 MHz
W-CDMA 1700 MHz
W-CDMA 1900 MHz
W-CDMA 2100 MHz
TD-SCDMA
TD-SCDMA (Time Division Synchronous Code Division
Multiple Access) is a 3G standard for mobile networks. It
is developed as an alternative to the W-CDMA standard in
China by the Chinese Academy of Telecomunications
Technology, Datang Telecom and Siemens AG, and
combines TDMA and CDMA.
TD-SCDMA 1880-1920 MHz
TD-SCDMA 2010-2025 MHz
LTE
LTE is deemed to be the fourth generation (4G) of mobile
communications technology. It has been developed by
the 3GPP based on the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA
technologies in order to increase the speed and capacity
of wireless data networks. A further development of the
technology is called LTE Advanced.

If I am reading this right, it shoulc be compatable, also the phone was purchased from Ebay, (I know ebay, but they had impecable reviews)
I thinking maybe the phone is faulty, can you confirm I am right in saying it should be compatable, if it is, ive exhaused all I can do, and the phone must be faulty.

I believe this is a dual-sim job? Long shot, but have you tried the SIM in the other slot?
03-10-2017 11:10 AM
Hello there,
Yep did try it in another slot but no luck
03-10-2017 12:19 PM
I take it you've checked the SIM in another device, just to rule out and issues with the SIM itself, or a network issue in your area?

Hello there,
Yeh I tried it my original phones, goes onto 4g straight away, and also a work phone, 4g pops right away 😕
