Hi. I received my S6 edge after years of being with HTC. One niggle: There's no way to sort the app draw alphabetically. Having trawled the the web, I believe it could be remedied by Voda as some US carriers have an A-Z sort option. Is therer any chance it could be done?
Many thanks.

No. I downloaded Nova launcher which has the option and also gives me Google Now on every page which works with 'ok google'. That was also lost with this phone.

I've got a non branded handset and the option to sort the apps alphabetically doesn't exist there either, so I don't think it is a Vodafone specific thing, more likely what Samsung or Google have done to the device.

This is a real annoyance. It makes browsing for apps on a phone a real headache using the standard app drawer.
It does seem like it’s specific to certain carriers…. http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s6/512036-how-do-you-put-your-apps-alphabetical-orde...
The fact that you cannot remove the app drawer from the ‘dock’ means that we're stuck with a fundamentally flawed app drawer on our homescreens. ‘App Swap’ from the Play store looks good and I would move that into the dock and replace the standard drawer.. if only I could!
I never had this issue on my S4 with Vodafone (which allowed us to sort alphabetically) and unfortunately ‘Appzorter’ which I used to arrange apps on my S3 does not work on the S6/Lollipop yet either.
Any chance that this fundamental flaw might get fixed?

Not correct - as stated in my previous post, I have a non branded phone ie one that hasn't been provided with by a network - it is a standard UK version of the handset. It doesn't have the option to sort apps either. So, it is either something that Samsung or Google have done.

You may wish to contact Samsung / Google and as the same question of them as it doesn't appear to be carrier specific.

Ok, my bad... quite an oversight by Samsung really.

I agree this is annoying and I hope Samsung bring it back in the next version.
However you can find apps using google search which will search locally on the phone if you enable it in settings.
