Hi All,

 

So I found out my 6S Plus is currently back ordered, and keen to get my phone, I was just wondering if anyone knows how often Apple are sending stock to Vodafone?

I was told by Vodafone that Apple had advised them that it would be 4 weeks until they get their next batch

Was that telephone support or Live Chat out of interest.

That was telephone support and it was a manager,  if you look at my post in the forum called "pre-order farce" you'll perhaps see why they had to divulge that information to me

The four week wait is the lead time for a new order placed now, not for orders that were made two weeks ago.

Thats not true - my order was made on the 12th Sept

 

I have been given priority one on delivery due to VF errors which means as soon as they are available I'm top of the queue,  and VF are still saying they are being advised by apple 4 weeks until the next batch arrives

I only ordered yesterday and was told 1-2 weeks. I contacted them today to ask about lead times as mentioned I had head '4 weeks', but they said this is the maximum amount of time it can take and most orders are delivered within 2-7 working days. I am a bit sceptical about this and don’t expect to receive it within a week, but some consistency in the delivery times would be nice! I just want to know.

 

Interestingly this site has most of the options as 'In Stock'. How viable it is is anyone's guess. But it links directly to the Vodafone site.

I thought I'd add I am getting the 16GB 6s in Space Grey, so maybe it makes a difference what device you've gone for, 6s/6s Plus and what size.

When I spoke with one of the managers at VF,  their words to me was that apple had advised them it would be 4 weeks for the rose gold models and 2-3 weeks for the other models
