I have the new Vodafone Connect router and I would like to know how to reduce the bufferbloat to improve my gaming experience.

Connecting via ethernet may help. You could also try splitting your SSID to make sure your gaming device is on the best frequency (older would be best on 2.4Ghz/Newer on 5Ghz). This is done via the router manager page or you could contact the support team who will walk you through it.
