So, I have tried connecting my phone via USB to my desktop & PC (both running Windows 10) and cannot see the phone folders or the micro SD folders in File Manager. I have upgraded phone to the latest version. I have checked Settings/Storage/USB Computer connection and it is set to MTP. I have checked USB tethering and the setting is "USB not connected". Do I need to install any USB Drivers to make this work?

I'm having a similar issue: Windows 10 can't see my son's Smart Ultra 6 any more (it used to be fine). I've tried with three different cables.
It looks very much like a driver issue, but I've not found a solution.

I am running Windows 10 also. I was going down the driver route and searching for driver info and also had a rather pathetic online chat with Vodafone.
I was surprised that after using 2 cables that worked fine with my old Samsung, then swapping to the supplied cable that came with the Smart 6, everything connected fine.
Someone suggested that the Vodafone cable might be "data & chargeing" while the others might be charging only.
Since it started working, I have not carried out any further investigation on whether that might be true - first I have heard of it. Hope you fix it.
Also, the Chat suggested I take phone & cable to a store and get a technician to test it.

Hi @Viki_R
I'll certainly give it a shot, although I have tried a number of cables and I'm pretty sure at least some of them used to work. :smileyhappy:
I'm slightly concerned that my original cable may have gone walkabout. What's my best option for getting a replacement?

Vodafone?

They'e got one on their website for £20, which seems a touch avaricious.
