Hi,
I recently upgraded my Samsung S7 to android 7.
Since the update after a few minutes of my phone going into stanby i cant recieve calls.
When I wake the phone up and call out I can then recieve calls again.
I am using a vodafone sure signal at home.
Is there a specific setting in Android 7 that disables the Data when in standby. can this be adjusted?
Hope someone can help
Thanks

I've seen a couple of threads on Android forums about wifi / data going off when in standby. Here's an example. It depends what operating system and phone you're using but there are a couple of suggestions on the linked thread.

I know the SureSignal isn't a wifi connection as such, but it might be worth checking whethere "keep wifi on when asleep" is ticked. It doesn't use much power. Also have a look at the battery-saving settings - it's possible that something has changed in the update and that a less agressive policy would be appropriate.
What happens when you're out and not on the SS. Can you receive calls while asleep then?
If all else fails, you may need to try a factory reset (don't forget to back up your content first!).
