Charity donations by text

Can anyone tell me why all texts for charitable donations, and even feedback to Vodafone for their dire support services, are failing? I have been trying to make a donation for the Nepal appeal, but every attempt fails (Text "HELP" to 70000). However, regular texts work fine.

So far I have made 3 long calls to Vodafone support services, and twice they promised to call me back after changing my settings - and never did. The "fixes" didn't work either. I have also been to the Vodafone shop near where I live and been given a replacement SIM card, and this made no difference either. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-19505.

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be please?

The specific one to ask about would be the premium rate bar.   This is most often used to stop chargeable spam texts, but would also affect the ones you're referring to.
