Clarification on unblocking process

Hi,

8 Days ago I filled out a form to unblock a phone I had from Vodafone so that it could be used on another network. I have been a Vodafone customer for several years and this was a replacement phone from sending a faulty phone in (the service was so poor I paid to upgrade and get a new phone giving me 2 phones).

This Tuesday I received a message from Vodafone saying the phone number was wrong. The form said:

This must be for the SIM that’s used in the phone you want to unlock

I have entered the number for the new card... my mistake but the site wasn't clear so I filled it out again.

Several hours later I got told the form was completed wrong and the IMEI wasn't recognised.

I checked and it's correct (I followed the process on the phone suggested to get the code).

So, I called Vodafone. Your rep was suggesting I had the right telephone number the first time (ie. she either doesn't understand the form or the process). This was 24 hours ago.

8 days since completing the process and I'm none the wiser on what's wrong and why you can't unblock the phone.

I have provide both mobile numbers (and they are correct) as well as the correct IMEI number but still you aren't able to unblock my phone.

Can someone clarify what's gone wrong and why I can't unblock the phone in a simple process without having to get angry at Vodafone reps!

Many thanks,

Darren
