I'd like to use a DSL modem to connect my home network and 3rd party router with a bit more stability/reliability than the standard Vodafone router can offer.
From Vodafone I know:
- My username
- My password
- That I need to use VLAN ID 101
- Connection is over PPPoE
Fine. However there are other settings that I think I also need, like
- Connection method: VDSL/VDSL2/...?
- Encapsulation type: LLC/VC-MUX
- VPI/VCI: 0/38? 0/101?
- MTU size: 1400/1492/1500?
I can try these settings out, but if anyone has these already, I'd be grateful as it would save some time for sure!!
Thanks
