Delivery severe delay - iPhone 6

Hello,

I ordered (upgrade) iPhone6 on the 24 October and it still hasn't arrived.

Only e-mail I received was the first one saying that the estimate delivery date 28 October - 04 November 2014. I have not heard from Vodafone since and every time I call the help desk they only tell me to wait for another few weeks and will give me the compensation once I received the phone, and nobody could tell me whether phone will be delivered in 2 days or 2 month.

I have been a Vodafone customer for 14 years and I am very upset about how I have been treated.

Please can someone tell me when my phone will arrive??

Thanks @Ian_C when I track my order the expected delivery date is (was?) the 30th October 2014. The track my order page is broken for me.

I don't overly mind the wait, is just a shame Vodapone haven't been more open about it. The order page states that there is a back order of 1 to 2 weeks, but this is obviously missleading to anyone placing an order.

A few updates just to say we still have your order and are expecting a delivery in the new year would have been nice.

Hopefully I'll get the 6 before the 7 is released

Contacted Vodapone on live chat last night. advised that I'm still waiting for phone. Chap advised there is still no stock in warehouse, but stated go along to a shop and ask if they have any.

Popped into local shop this morning and asked if they had the iphone 6 in 64gb in grey? yes Sir, we have one out the back.

Original order cancelled and everything sorted out in the shop by Dave the Manager.

I now have the phone Ive been waiting nearly 3 months for.

I suggest anyone who is waiting for theirs to do the same.

Yeah I popped into a shop last weekend and they supplied one from the back. It turns out my order was cancelled New Years day (3 months after the order date). Only found that out after getting the phone from the shop as the email landed in my junk folder!

on account of my looooooooonnnngggg wait, the store has given me the 1st month of my contract free as a guestures of good will.

The service in the shop was great (although they were cagey over how there was stock in store but online orders were unfulfilled).
