Post some good news, I can hardly believe it myself.
Switched from Plusnet to VF today. I use a draytek vigor 130 modem and an asus ac3200 router. Got my PPoE username/password from the website text support, entered that in the router settings, restarted the modem and it all worked first time. Just recorded one of my fastest ever d/l on the speedtest app on my phone (53Mbps). The VF router is still in its shipping wrapper.
So far so good!
