Free Sky sports download problem

I recently upgraded to an Iphone6 with which I get freaky sports mobile(I think it was for 6 months). I followed the link received the text with the 4 digit code and entered it in the right section. The app started to download but froze half way through. I went back in and started a fresh but the option for free had disappeared as though I had used my free option. Has anyone come up against this issue? I have tried downloading from the App Store but it looks like I'd be paying full price do i didn't go ahead with it.i feel like the system thinks I have the app downloaded but I dont.
