Hi all
First post here! trying to find out more about my Note 7 Pre-order as ive not heard anything since the initial order.
Has anyone had confirmation they will be getting it on the 30/8?
Tried chat and 191 both saying different things as is in store. Also the tracking is not working yet because it is a pre-order.
I know there are some supply issues but I will need to amend delivery address if im not getting it on the tuesday and obviously dont have much time to change anything.
any help would be appricated.

Hi,
I've just spent last 2.5 hours speaking to customer services, upgrades and retention teams. I also placed an early preorder on 22 August, for the Note 7 + VR through retentions team. They confirmed my deal via text, and I made sure that being early preorder meant delivery 3 days before official launch date, ie- 30 August.
Low and behold, no delivery yesterday or today. There were no text messages from the courier who was supposed to give me an hours window of when they will deliver. And after 2.5 hours, thy tell me that no order can be found. They tried to pass it off by saying it's because it's a preorder item, and there is a backlog of preorders as it's such a popular handset. My response was that Vodafone have not fulfilled their part in offering the early preorder delivery of 30 August.

Apparently according to 191 only 30 percent of pre orders will be fulfilled tomorrow due to no stock levels.

Maybe I am best waiting after all 😃
(wow I just read that news of the battery issue causing delays lost Samsung $7billion on the market! harsh).

Not entirely correct. Samsung have made no comment which markets are affected:
Samsung has confirmed today that the Galaxy Note 7 shipments have been delayed as it’s conducting further quality testing on its new flagship smartphone. The company said in a statement that “Shipments of the Galaxy Note 7 are being delayed due to additional tests being conducted for product quality.” It did not provide any details on the tests being conducted and the markets that will be affected by this delay.

Ordered on the 25th...
Spoke to Customer services, who have an order number, but no direct info, only that they have low stock, are waiting on more handsets from Samsung, and that some people won't get there's tmr...:mansad:
They've arranged a call back from the warehouse today with info on whether the delivery will be made tmr. Supposed to expect that at 4pm, but I'm not holding my breath...

It is correct if you read all the reports from this morning it states what markets are effected
According to the Reuters report of about an hour and a half ago:
Samsung did not comment on what problem it was trying to address or whether other markets were affected besides South Korea.
It does read that they haven't confirmed whether other markets are affected at present. So, if you could post a few links to where it has been confirmed what markets that would be great - I'd be interested to see what markets are actually affected.

From TechRadar.
"Shipments of the Galaxy Note 7 are being delayed due to additional tests being conducted for product quality," said Samsung in a statement to Reuters.
Samsung did not elaborate on which regions of the world would be affected by the delay, as there are several variants of the phone for different markets.
The smartphone maker didn't elaborate on what exactly it's testing for, but reports of exploding phones could be the culprit. Two separate reports linked the Galaxy Note 7 explosions to device charging. Whether incompatible chargers or cables were used is unclear."
