Galaxy S5 wake up via home button EXTREMELY slow! HELP!

When i go to wake up my phone by pressing the home button , it takes around 10 seconds sometimes to wake the phone in order for me to use the finger print unlock. 


Some times it wakes straight away but most it takes around 8/10 secs. This has only just started happening about a week ago! had the phone for around a month!

Hi there

 

In the last week, have you installed an new apps or updated any existing apps?  I am wondering if there is an app that is consuming all the available memory on the device which is making it very slow and unresponsive?
