Getting Google assistant

Hi

Getting Google assistant on my s7 edge will it void my Vodafone warranty by installing it.

My reason for asking!

The only way I  Have found to get it is that devices that don't have it can install it by changing the primary language to USA and then changing back.

It just doesn't sound like an official way of installing it

Could it cause problems doing it this way

As long as you're not changing the installed software then your warranty shouldn't be affected.

Changing the language won't have any effect on the warranty at all

just wanted so say thanks to 

NABBS and BANDOFBROTHERS

For the excellent tip to get Google assistant via changing the primary language to U.S.A and if you wish back to U.K

And then on the S 7 long press on the home button.

Had I not been on this forum 

I more than likely would not of discovered it any time soon.

As for use on my S7 EDGE it is brilliant.

A lot better than having my device constantly listening for my voice and having to say OK GOOGLE 

It also has had me in stitches a couple of time

I guess the schoolboy pranks never leave.🤡
