Group Messages

Hi,

I have groupd messaging set up on my Vodafone phone. however one memeber of the group is not receiving messages from me, he is on the message + serivce.  I was trying to remove his contact from the group chat but it appears you can only add contacts to a group and not remove them.

How will i fix this issue?   can individual contacts be removed from groups?

Which phone is this on? Are you also using the Message + App?

Hi this is a vodafone smart ultra 6, and yes he is using the message + app also.  i can send him individual messages no problem but the group ones are problematic.

Is there anything about the way in which you’re entering the number? Are you entering it in the exact same way, in the same format?

Do you know if anybody else is having problems when adding this number to a group?

the number is being added directly in from my contacts, i;ve tried adding it in separately but thaty doesnt work. I've also tried setting up a new group chat but that didn't work either. There is a note on the group text which says that the person has left the group, but they are not aware of having done this and i/they don't know how to add the person back in.

Try changing the number in question on your contacts from starting with 07 to +44.

For example 071234xxxxx would become +4471234xxxxx

When you contact them seperately, are they received through Message+ or are they standars texts?
