HTC One Mini 2 can't send or receive texts

Hello,

Just got this phone yesterday, new to vodafone and I switched my number from my giffgaff sim to this one. The internet works fine and I can make calls but it seems that people can't ring me and I can't send or receive texts.

Are there settings I have to change or is this something that just needs time to sort itself out?

Porting takes place in stages, so the simple answer is probably "yes" (give it time).   The process can sometimes be quite slow, so it's cheering to hear that everything else has happened already.  It's hard to give precise timings but, if you're still textless in another 48 hours, post back here.
