I have had my phone from Sony (via Vodafone) for less than three months but already it seems the headphone jack is broken. I have tried turning the phone off and on and have tried various different sets of earphones but I am getting intermittent noise (having to wiggle the headphone wire) it's such a pain.
Am I covered on either Vodafone or Sony warranty please? its a two year contract and i cant have two year of this....
If not does anyone have any resolutions? no doubt sendign to Vodafone will cost a fortune!
Thanks

Hi,
Check the port for dust or lint.
I assume you've not not dropped it nor has water got into it.
If it is Hardware related I would suggest choosing the manufacturers Uk Support site to contact.
http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/contactUs/
They know their hardware and software better than a repair centre.
They apply a 24 month warranty.

Did you ask them to send the device for repair?
