Help Needed For Activate My Lenovo Mobile Broadband!

I bought a Lenovo notebook with a 30-day trial of Vodafone mobile broadband which is needed to be activated , I followed the sign up screen to call 08700 700 053, and was told to activate it, I need a mobile no.(there is no mobile no. on my sim card!), and then I tried to visit www.vodafone.co.uk/builtin, and the website doesn't exist at all! Could anybody please tell me how to activate my mobile broadband? many thanks in advance.

I have to tell you as far as I know, this website never worked before, people reported the issue here, but Vodafone just ignored it.

I know some people reported a few problems entering there details, but that was mainly due to entering the wrong information or formatting it incorrectly, and I believe we got those sorted. At the very least, the website existed!

We're still chasing this up anyway, and I will update you with news as it comes through.

I have same problem. Card says "Mobile broadand straight out of the box" The only thing out of the box so far is me. Link does not work. Customer services won't talk without a mobile number. This is all very catch 22. Wake up Vodaphone and sort this out. It's a terrible advertosement for your service.

Everything seems to have gone wring with this promotion. Dialling 08700 700 053 as stated on the offer literature gets you nowhere. I did briefly speak to Chris Malville who is based in York who seemed to know something about the offer but have not been able to navigate back to him. Surely it can't be that difficult to give us instructions about who to call to get the sim cards activated.
