Huawei Charger and Settings help!!!

Hi,

I need some help - I am not very phone technical!

 

I have two questions:

 

First: I have Hauwei Ascend P8 and I have only had it about a 4 months and my charger (I assume it is the charger) has stopped working - there are no marks, holes nor is it bent anywhere in the lead, or the plug, I have ordered a new one so hopefully that will work, but my query as I have had the phone under 6 months and its Pay monthly is it still under warranty? does anyone know this?

 

Second: I wanted to put a limit on my data usage, well a warning to say when I have used X amount and on my old Hauwei I was able to do this but am unable to find this setting on my new phone! does anyone know where I can find this please?

The phone manufacturers warranty is 24 months. 

 

Vodafone Warranty Information

 

 

I always suggest approaching the manufacturer as they know their hardware and software better than anybody. Use their Uk Support site. 

 

Ensure no dust / lint is in the phones charger port or in any part of the charger lead fitting. 

 

Regarding Data.

 

Vodafone don't apply caps / limits.

 

Its user managed.

 

Use Myvodafone app and myvodafone Online.

 

Any internal Data Monitor or download one.  

Some phones have limit settings or audible alerts. (Handset Dependant)
